About
I am a director and designer of film and narrative media, based in Los Angeles, CA but originally from Memphis, TN. That just feels important to note.
I received my BFA in film production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and was the recipient of the John Huston Scholarship for Directing. My thesis Tape 23 was a part of the Indie Memphis Film Festival, San Jose Film Festival, and picked up by Aspire TV and 2nd Team Entertainment. In my final year of school, I directed the pilot episode of the dramatic television series Provenance, which won Best Drama at the 2023 Television Academy College Television Awards.
i have worked for brands such as Dermalogica, Nectar, Citizens Create, and for many films over the years. My most recent work can be seen as a production designer in the upcoming horror feature Obsession (2026), directed by Curry Barker.
My storytelling impulse is always to move with as much unrelenting consistency as I do with fluidity. There is only so much control in life - and making art is our farcical pacifier. In any project, my ideation is less about inventing than it is consuming: what’s your story, what’s it’s heart, what does it look/sound/feel/taste/smell like? From that point, I believe that making a choice, the most essential and comical act, has much less of a choking hazard.
Also, I have a rescue dutch bunny rabbit. Her name is Joy*.
